The Climate Coalition’s ‘Great Big Green Week’ is taking place from 7th to 15th June 2025, and this year’s theme is “Let’s Swap Together for Good.”

Here in Arnside, local groups, organisations, and individuals are coming together to celebrate. Sustainable Arnside and The Women’s Institute are leading the way, with a range of exciting community events planned. Keep an eye out for more details!

What is the Great Big Green Week?

Across the UK, over one million people will take part by making swaps—big or small! These could be swapping clothes, plants, books, or even changing habits to help protect nature and fight climate change.

How Can You Get Involved?

We can all make changes, whether it’s swapping old items, choosing more sustainable options, or taking action to show we want a better future for our community and planet. This is also a chance to send a clear message to decision-makers that we want positive change for future generations. We welcome support, contributions, exhibitions, and volunteers!
