The 25th Anniversary Coffee Morning in aid of St John’s Hospice and Hospice at Home held in Storth Village Hall on 16th November raised the incredible sum of £4,326. This brings the total raised over 25 years to £53,744.
Thanks are due to all who supported the event through the donation of raffle prizes, by individual donations, helped in any way – both prior to and on the day, and all who attended.
Arnside RNLI committee would like to thank all those who attended the Fundraising Disco held on 30th November in the W.I. & Village Hall.
We would also like to thank the sponsors of the generous raffle prizes – namely, Kendal Asda, Anne Pattison, Beetham Garden Centre, JJ Crossfield, Porsche, Carnforth Tesco, The Villa at Levens and Arnside RNLI. We would also like to thank our local DJ, Dave Brown, who greatly assisted in making it a great evening.
Thanks to Arnside Chip Shop for their generous contribution to the catering, and finally, thanks to the Arnside Village website and the Arnside Broadsheet for their support throughout the year.
The sum raised at the Disco was £460.00 which will go towards Saving Lives at Sea.
For local young people to participate in educational, musical and sporting pursuits.
