The Burton-in-Kendal Educational Foundation (Charity Reg. No. 526953) provides small grants to Sixth Form, College, University Students and Apprentices.
To qualify, you need to have lived in one of the following Civil Parishes for at least 2 years and be under 25 years of age:
- Burton in Kendal
- Holme
- Preston Patrick
- Dalton
- The Hamlet of Holmescales
- Beetham
- Meathop
- Ulpha
- Witherslack
- Arnside
