At Alter Studio Architects we design homes that are robust and efficient, as well as beautiful, and with a deep respect for comfort and performance.
Based in the village of Arnside, we take on a select number of projects at a time – allowing us to give each home project the time, care, and attention it needs, while working closely with a trusted team of skilled collaborators.
We understand how personal a home is, and the importance of getting it right, so we begin with conversation – listening carefully to what matters to you. It’s about more than just architecture — it’s about the people who will live there, their lifestyle and daily rituals, and future memories they will make in their house.
We work mainly across the North West — from Cumbria down to Greater Manchester and Cheshire where the studio was first formed.
