Arnside & Silverdale Landscape Trust

The Arnside & Silverdale Landscape Trust is a local charity and membership organisation, dedicated to conserving, protecting and enhancing the natural beauty and cultural heritage of the Arnside & Silverdale National Landscape.

We maintain close links with the Arnside & Silverdale National Landscape Partnership, as well as other locally active conservation organisations, such as Natural England, the National Trust and RSPB.

Our members receive a free copy of our much acclaimed journal, ‘Keer to Kent’, three times a year, carrying articles on matters as diverse as summerhouses, spite walls, industrial archaeology, geology, natural history and conservation issues. We also organise occasional talks and guided walks within the area.

We own a number of small local reserves, managing these principally for biodiversity but also making them available for local schools to use for educational purposes as well as for the public to enjoy.

Why not join us and help us to champion the National Landscape? New members and volunteers are always welcome. Visit our website for more details.
