Westmorland General Hospital

Westmorland General Hospital (WGH) is the Trust Headquarters of University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust. It provides a range of ‘general hospital’ services including elective operations, outpatient appointments and midwifery-led maternity services, together with an Urgent Treatment Centre.

Please note that the Urgent Treatment Centre is not the same as an A&E so is not able to treat emergencies. It can help with a range of non-life threatening conditions such as broken bones and minor illnesses.
