Arnside & Silverdale National Landscape (formerly Arnside & Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty)
This extraordinary place is famous for its amazing wildlife, stunning scenery, and superb walks. From the simple beauty of the wild orchids and butterflies to the shining sands of Morecambe Bay, the area is simply awe-inspiring – full of natural spectacles and a surprise around every corner!
Stunning limestone pavements, ancient woodlands, intimate orchards and meadows and an impressive coastline make Arnside & Silverdale National Landscape one of England’s finest landscapes.
The work of the National Landscape Partnership and the Arnside & Silverdale Landscape Trust aims to conserve and enhance this extraordinary place and its amazing wildlife, now and for the future.
Members of staff are happy to help with advice on flora and fauna, land management and grants as well as what to do and where to go in the area.

Get Involved – learn more about the landscape and heritage through walks, talks and other events. Volunteer to help at events, carry out surveys or practical conservation tasks.
