Arnside Stitchers

This friendly and welcoming group meet every Wednesday afternoon from September to April in the Westmorland Room at the Educational Institute on Church Hill, Arnside.

The afternoon is as much a social event as well as time to sew, knit, crochet and share and learn new skills. The skills range from beginners to experienced and we try to cover most needlework projects, as well as dyeing, felting and more.

Members work on their own projects as well as the group one, and we usually have a display in the E.I.

We share ideas and help each other, and members are generous with advice or practical help. 

Sessions are from 1pm until 4pm and members can arrive and depart as they wish. Tea, coffee and biscuits are served during the meeting.
