This event has ended

Renaissance and Baroque music for court entertainment and the dance.

Local musicians Philip Gruar and Elizabeth Dodd, with acclaimed lutenist Richard MacKenzie from the Wirral, play instruments of the period: viola da gamba, recorders, flute, early guitar, lute and the orbo, and also bring some 18th century music to life with dances from the opera house performed in costume.
