Village Consultation on Proposed Affordable Homes For Arnside

South Lakes Housing (SLHA)and Arnside Parish Council are holding a Village Consulation Event with regard to the proposed development of eight affordable homes for local people to be built on a derelict former orchard covering 2/3rds of an acre on Briery Bank. The event will include displays and information.

The properties will be built to a high eco standard providing high energy efficiency. The Parish Council are confident that this energy efficient scheme will go some way to ensuring that our village remains a living, sustainable community – large enough and mixed enough in age and socio-economic status, to sustain vital services such as the school, surgery, dentist and post office.

There will be two sessions: 3.30 – 5.30pm and 7.00 – 8.30pm.
