Arnside & District Natural History Society: Small Mammal Monitoring in Silverdale

Meet 10 am at 1 Bottoms Lane, Silverdale LA5 0TN.

There is parking for 3 cars on the drive, 3 cars opposite and 4-5 cars on Stankelt Rd by The Chase/Pointer Wood, Silverdale village centre.

Please car share where possible, if you need to drive. If you require a lift or are prepared to car share, please contact Clare Shaw on 07827 867188, who will add you to the Society’s WhatsApp group.

We will view the results of live mammal trappings and view several bat boxes for roosting bats, before releasing the animals back to the wild.

The event is expected to finish around midday.

In the interests of reducing our carbon footprint, the protection of habitats and landscape and limited parking we encourage members to car share. Please bring a packed lunch for all the field trips and wear suitable clothing and footwear.

Due to the sensitive nature of the sites no dogs are allowed on any of these walks.

Members and friends attend the field trips at their own risk. The Society cannot be held responsible for any accidents or incidents.
