Flow Dance is a joyful, energising class where you can learn simple sequences, move creatively, and enjoy dancing together. Along the way, you’ll explore balance, coordination, alignment and breath, helping your body move with greater ease and flow.
Expect great music, uplifting movement and a friendly atmosphere that will leave you feeling energised and inspired.
Come along, move your body, and experience the joy of movement in a supportive community setting.

‘Flow Dance’ is one of two new classes Mel is launching at Arnside W.I. Hall this spring.

Arnside-based Dr Mel Brierley, is a dance and health artist and a registered somatic movement educator with the International Somatic Movement Education and Therapy Association (ISMETA). Through her somatic-informed, eco-embodied approach, Mel helps people reconnect with their bodies and improve health and wellbeing through movement.
A Churchill Fellow (2014) for the Arts and Older People, Mel is also a mentor, coach and trainer who specialises in supporting people living with long-term health conditions and neurological conditions.
