A fun, low-impact fitness class designed to boost your cardiovascular health, strength, balance, and mood — especially supportive for women in midlife and beyond.
We begin with 20 minutes of simple, feel-good SalsaFit and Line Dance routines to raise your heart rate, improve coordination, and lift your energy. This is followed by 20 minutes of standing strength training using hand weights and resistance bands to support bone density, posture, and everyday strength, finishing with gentle stretches to aid recovery and flexibility.
All exercises are joint-friendly, performed standing with no floor work or jumping, making this class accessible to a wide range of fitness levels.
You’re welcome to bring your own hand weights and bands or borrow Sam’s in class until you’re ready to bring your own. Water bottles work too for a lighter start!
Dance Strong is perfect if you want to move more freely, feel stronger, and enjoy uplifting exercise in a friendly, welcoming environment.
