Autumn Forest Bathing in Eaves Wood

Autumn Forest Bathing

Eaves Wood is part of one of the UK’s remaining temperate rainforests — a rare and ancient ecosystem shaped by moisture, shade, and time. In autumn, the woodland begins to turn inward. Leaves loosen their hold, light softens, and the forest settles into a quieter rhythm.

There is something deeply steadying about being here at this point in the year. The forest offers a natural pause — a place to notice what has unfolded, what is completing, and what is ready to fall away.

We are gathering in early autumn, as the season shifts from outward growth toward release and rest. This is a moment of gentle transition, and the woodland holds it with ease.

Autumn’s Forest Bathing session offers space to slow down, come into your body, and attune to the subtle changes in the landscape. Through gentle, guided invitations, we’ll open the senses, notice what is changing, and spend time in simple presence with the forest.

This is not a hike, workshop, or performance, it is a slow, restorative morning held by the woodland.

What the morning includes

  • Guided forest bathing invitations
  • Time for stillness, gentle movement, and reflection
  • A small group held in quiet connection
  • A woodland fire to gather around, share warmth, and eat food

This session is for you if you’re drawn to

  • Slowing down
  • Being outdoors without needing to “do”
  • Reflecting on the season that has passed
  • Letting go and turning gently inward
  • Reconnecting with yourself through nature
