Mill Tours & Milling Demonstrations

Join us at Heron Corn Mill on the first Friday of the month, as we invite you to join us and learn all all about the history and folklore of Heron Corn Mill!

Your tour will begin with Iain, who will guide you through our historic 18th century watermill, and teach you all about the fascinating history of milling on the site. Our resident millwright, Stuart, will then take over as he uses our traditional millstones to demonstrate the milling process, turning grain into our artisan flour!

Bags of wheat, rye, spelt, and Blacksmith wheat flour will be for sale in the barn imediately following the demonstration.

Tickets are priced at £6.50 per person with free entry for under 16’s.
