Date

Time
10:00 - 12:30
South Cumbria Rivers Trust are looking for people to help ‘Pull It Up, Stop it Spreading, and Protect our Rivers!’
Himalayan Balsam is an invasive plant that damages riverbanks, crowds out native plants and increases flood risk.
The ‘bashing’ sessions are to make the most of the opportunity before Himalayan balsam disperses its seeds, so a number of additional sessions have been arranged this month. See poster for details.
Transport will be provided to the areas listed on the poster, but you are welcome to use your own transport if required.
The next session is at Levens Hall. Pick-up is from Kendal.
No experience needed. Tools provided.
