Silverdale Renaissance presents – Singers’ Workshop: ‘Madrigals of Monteverdi’

A Singers’ Workshop led by Robert Hollingworth, Director of ‘I Fagiolini’.

Monteverdi’s madrigals (from around 1600) are impossibly perfect miniature, five-voiced mini dramas that carry a surprising amount of musical weight.

Spend a morning exploring them (and one contemporary classic from England) in the company of Robert Hollingworth, director of ‘I Fagiolini’ and co-founder of the podcast ‘Choral Chihuahua’.

This is a workshop for experienced singers who can read music. The scores will be sent to you in advance. Tickets £15 to include refreshments. Singers under 25 years free.
