Northern Soul is a music and dance movement that emerged in Northern England in the early 1970s. It developed from the British mod scene, based on Americian Soul and Motown music with a heavy beat and fast tempo. Leading venues included the Twisted Wheel in Manchester and Wigan Casino, where dancing continued till 8am in the morning. (We will be finishing slightly earlier………).

With music from the likes of Diana Ross and the Supremes, the Jackson Five, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Jackie Wilson, The Contours and Benny Troy. Join our resident DJ, Dave Brown, for an afternoon of great music!.
