Monthly Blues Jam at the Sailing Club

Join us for our hugely popular ‘Blues Jam’, running from 4:00pm to 7:30pm on the first Sunday of the month.

Hosted by a live house band, the afternoon begins with a short opening set before the stage opens up for an exciting jam session featuring local musicians and guests.

Whether you want to take the lead on vocals, sit in with the rhythm section, or simply enjoy the music, everyone is welcome and the possibilities are endless.

This month’s house band is The Thieving Magpies — one of Cumbria’s busiest and most popular live acts. Known for putting their own spin on classic rock and rhythm & blues, with plenty of improvisation and jamming along the way, they’ve delivered many outstanding performances here at the Clubhouse.

All musicians are welcome, whether you want to front the band or join in with the rhythm section, the choice is yours and the possibilities are endless!

The Thieving Magpies are hosting further Blues Jams on Sunday, 2nd August and Sunday, 4th October.

These can be purchased in advance here, or you can pay on the door.

Doors Open at 4pm. Music starts 4.30pm ish.
