A Musical Meditation on Peace: Water For Gaza

A warm welcome to a 60 minute musical meditation on peace. The concert is a fundraiser for the Solar Powered Well in Central Gaza – a project initiated by a Lancaster Uni graduate from Gaza. All proceeds from the concert will go to this.

Lancaster based cellist, Maja Bugge, and accordionist, Pete Moser,will, together with Oud player, Mina Salama, and guitarist, Howard Haigh, perform compositions and improvisations rooted in their own musical material, as well as music by artists and composers like Fayrouz, Assi Rahbani and Arvo Pärt.

It will be a contemplative and quiet space to reflect and come together. The concert will be followed by refreshments and a chance to share reflections and thoughts.
