The Arnside Archive group is a voluntary organisation based in the Arnside Educational Institute. Members are cataloguing and organising materials donated by local people, notably a large collection of photographs assembled by local historian Dennis Bradbury.

We warmly welcome new members.

We always need a wide variety of skills to make the most of our materials, including IT skills, oral history interviewing, storage and cataloguing, graphic design and display, developing publications and helping to host archive events.

We run workshops on Wednesdays from 10am – 12 noon in the Margaret Matheson room in the E.I.. At these workshops, new members can get an introduction to the archive, helping with basic cataloguing of material held in the archive and preparation for exhibitions, supported by an experienced archive member.

If you are interested in joining, just come along to one of the workshops or contact us on arnsidearchivegroup@gmail.com

This is a recurring event. Repeating every week.
