‘Write by the River’ at Heron Corn Mill

Writing tutor and novelist Marion McCraith invites all aspiring authors, poets and dramatists to join her for her next ‘Write by the River’ workshop.

The workshop is aimed at both beginners and creative writers working in all genres, and will include a number of small exercises. Writers are also welcome to bring their own ideas or works in progress to share with the group.

Marian is a published author who has taught creative writing to community groups and undergraduates for 30 years, and she currently teaches for the Open University. Her short stories have been published in literary magazines and broadcast on BBC Radio 4, and her plays and monologues have been performed at theatres and venues around the country.

The workshop runs from 11.00am – 3.30pm, and as this is an all-day session a packed lunch will be required.

There is a suggested donation of £10 for tutor led sessions, which is payable on the day.
