The Big Green Well Being Week

Sustainable Arnside’s ‘Big Green Well Being Day’ is the culmination of events that have been happening through the week as part of the ‘Big Green Well Being Week’.

Events today are as follows:

Arnside Repair Cafe: 10am – 12 noon at the Arnside Educational Institute, Church Hill

Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust’s HARRI Van (Health, Advice, Recovery, Resilience and Information engagement vehicle) will be in the Arnside Educational Institute’s Car Park (opposite the building on Church Hill) all day. Professionals from the Bay Health and Care Partners (BHCP) will offer people advice, support and signpost to relevant health, care, Third Sector and Voluntary, Care, Faith and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) services.

The Big Green Plant Swap: 10am – 12 noon at the W.I. & Village Hall, Orchard Road.
An opportunity to swap any spare plants, seeds, fruit anda veg, herbs etc. There will be a talk from guest speaker, Councillor Giles Archibald at 10.30am.

Nature Trail and Self-Guided Walks in Ashmeadow – fun for all the family!

Young People’s Green Well-Being Space: 2–4pm at the Arnside Educational Institute, Church Hill.

A Variety of Clubs & Organisations will be at the W.I. & Village Hall, Orchard Road, including:

  • Sustainability with Future Proof Cumbria
  • Churches Together
  • Arnside & Silverdale National Landscape
  • Thermal Imaging Team
  • Tea, Coffee and Cakes for sale kindly provided by the W.I.
