Quest Talk – The View From The Bridge – Big Ships Meeting Small Ones

Captain Julian Blatchley returns to give another entertaining salty talk. As a life-long yachtsman, he is very well aware of the opinions yachties and leisure boating enthusiasts express about commercial ships; and since he is also a Master Mariner who has commanded and piloted what are commonly known as ‘supertankers’ for almost quarter of a century, he also knows what the Merchant Navy thinks of the ‘Yellow Welly Brigade’.

Guest admission is £2.50 for a single talk, including refreshments. There is a reduced subscription available for all six remaining talks.
