Our Amazing Universe – An Illustrated Talk with Stuart Atkinson

Due to circumstances beyond our control, Stuart Atkinson’s return to Heron Corn Mill had to be postponed. The good news however, is that you can now catch the amateur astronomer and author’s fascinating illustrated talk on Wednesday 13th November!

Join Stuart for a breathtaking tour of the cosmos, as he guides you through the universe, beginning in Cumbria and zooming to the outer edges of known space, using the latest stunning images taken by telescopes and space probes!

There will also be the opportunity to head out into the night and admire the star clusters in the winter sky through a telescope, before the talk concludes with a Q & A session, where Stuart will show off some real meteorites – including pieces of the Moon and Mars!

A limited number of tickets are still available for the talk, priced at £8.00 for adults, and £6.00 for children.
