Mike Turnbull is a multi-instrumentalist who has the knack for writing well crafted songs with a story to tell. Influences are taken from his home region of the Lakes, around the UK & beyond. Many of songs are based on the local history of the area

The Valiant Knights is Mike’s folk rock band with Dave Pennington drums, Rob Penrice on bass & Rob Steels on guitar/mandolin. Their sound and style is original modern folk, upbeat energetic foot stompers with a story to tell! (Think Sam Kelly and The Lost Boys, Seth Lakeman & Steve Knightly)
