‘Making And Moving Into Place’ with Dr Mel Brierley and Philippa Troutman

A day of creative conversations with ourselves, with each other and with the landscape.
Mel and Philippa have enjoyed working together for many years, designing and facilitating community-based workshops. These workshops have been concerned with creativity, health and wellbeing.
More recently, Mel and Philippa collaborated on an innovative and exploratory project called ‘Moving Beyond’. Through the visual arts, dance and the natural landscape, they explored the lived experience of ageing, with creative responses focusing on the importance of self-care.
It is this and more that is brought to ‘Making and Moving into Place’.

The workshop runs from 10.00am– 5.00pm. Please arrive at 9.30am for a 10.00am start.

Places must be prebooked. The cost for the day is £70.

There is a car park opposite the Educational Institute. Please bring lunch, also a yoga mat or blanket We hope to be able to be outdoors for some of the day so please bring appropriate outdoor wear. Drinks and snacks will be provided.
