This event has ended

2022) (15) 2h 10m

Director – Frances O’Connor
Cast- Emma Mackey, Oliver Jackson

The film imagines the short passionate life of Emily Bronte that inspired the famous novel “Wuthering Heights”. It is a sensual portrait of a brilliant young woman ahead of her time.
Haunted by the death of her mother Emily struggles within the confines of her family life at the parsonage on the bleak Yorkshire moors. She is the black sheep of the family, a rebel and a misfit, ignored by her austere father, and she yearns for personal and artistic freedom.
