Arnside & Silverdale National Landscape – Walking the Landscape: Historic Yealand

A walk of around 5.5km around the Yealands, exploring some of the historic and other landscape features.
This route is of moderate difficulty, using paths with uneven ground, inclines and stiles.
We will meet at The New Inn in Yealand Conyers (immediately by a bus stop for services 49,51 & 552), who have kindly offered parking on the understanding that our walkers will pop in for a drink after the walk has finished – don’t forget your wallet.
Dogs are not permitted so please do not bring dogs with you on this walk.
Please bring:
- suitable clothing, including layers and a waterproof jacket
- water / drinks
- food (either snacks for energy or a pack up) – and remember to have a big breakfast!
- sunscreen (if sunny)
- walking boots
- spare socks (just in case)
- a phone
- walking poles (if usually used)
This is a joint Arnside/Silverdale Landscape Trust and Arnside & Silverdale National Landscape event.
The event is free for Landscape Trust members – membership costs just £15 a year.
