Arnside & District Natural History Society Summer Field Trip: Feizor For Spring Flowers
-
Date
10 May 2025
-
Time
10:00 - 12:30
Meet at 10am at Elaine’s Tea Room. Elaine is happy for people to use the car park provided they use the tea room after the walk. They do great tea, cake and a lot more, and have toilets. If any one does not wish to use the tea room before or after the walk they should park elsewhere, but the options are limited!!
We will do a circular walk from the tea room which will last approx. 2hrs 30mins. The target species are great woodland and woodland flora: Wood Anemone, Early Purple Orchid, Cowslip, Primrose and carpets of Bluebells. Some great views of the Yorkshire Dales.
Turn left off the A65 1 mile beyond the turn to Austwick – it is signed ‘Feizor’, but is a very minor dead end road and easily missed! Grid ref: SD 78992 67684; what3words: ///lunges.fronted.hairstyle

Please bring a packed lunch for all the field trips and wear suitable clothing and footwear.
